ClockworkMod/TWRP Recoveries
Here’s a list of working ClockworkMod or TWRP recoveries for Galaxy S4!
If using ODIN to install, download the TAR version.
If using existing CWM/TWRP recovery to install, download the ZIP version. (You can simply install with your current recovery and reboot recovery to update to latest version.)
For installing AOSP Android 4.4 KitKat custom ROM, you need CWM Recovery v6.0.4.3 or higher. If you have older version, use the ZIP file to update to the newer version!
ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery
*NOTE – For AT&T/Verizon users with Android 4.3/4.4.2 or higher, you cannot use the LOKI method, you need to use SafeStrap Recovery to install custom ROMs, see How to Install Custom ROMs on AT&T/Verizon Galaxy S4 using SafeStrap instead! Also, install TWRP recovery below instead of CWM recovery if you want to install Lollipop custom ROMs.
Canadian Galaxy S4 SGH-i337M (Bell, Rogers, Telus) – CWM Recovery v6.0.4.4 – Download TAR –Download ZIP
AT&T Galaxy S4 SGH-i337 – CWM Recovery v1.0.3.4 – Download – Credits (Must use LOKI method to flashDO NOT USE ODIN!) Download LOKI
Verizon Galaxy S4 SCH-i545 - CWM Recovery v1 - Download - Credits (Must use LOKI method to flash DO NOT USE ODIN!) Download LOKI (This is for older MDK bootloader, DO NOT INSTALL on Android 4.3/4.4.2 TouchWiz!)
Download CWM Recovery v6.0.4.7 for Verizon MDK users, you can use your existing CWM recovery to install this recovery, then reboot recovery!
